June 1, 2019 – The company issued a press release in June. It focused on the addition of channels and OTT options, including Pluto TV.

The launch of Pluto TV on Contour as well as Contour Stream Player will provide Cox customers with endless enjoyment of our curated, lean-back streaming offering” said Tom Ryan, CEO, and co-founder of the live internet TV app. The Pluto TV app has provided access to over 100 channels to its customers. Moreover, with thousands of on-demand titles, Cox Contour customers are spoiled for choice.
Cox Communications launched Cox Contour as the company’s leading television platform, in 2013. Cox has been continuously adding more channels to their lineup ever since.
Recently Pluto TV has also added a range of Viacom channels into their lineup. So now Cox Contour customers can also enjoy channels like MTV Pluto TV, Spike Pluto TV, Comedy Central Pluto, BET Pluto TV, Nick Jr. Pluto TV. and Nick Pluto TV. In addition, Paramount Movie channel was also included in the deal with Viacom.
Currently, Cox Contour TV is in the process of integrating more OTT media services onto their platform. As of now, Contour TV also includes Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube.
